Navy team scores at Northwest Cup

The CB United 98 Navy girls soccer team competed at the 2010 Northwest Cup in Spokane, Aug. 13 to 15. The eight-team tournament included seven clubs from Washington and one from Idaho in two four-team flights. CB United 11U boy’s team wins Spokane tournament

The Boys 11U soccer team representing Columbia Basin United outscored their opponents 55-4 winning five straight games to capture first place at the 2010 Northwest Cup in Spokane Aug. 13 to 15. Adrian Ruiz and Bernie Garza Jr. each scored 11 goals for the tournament. Michael Rojas played tough defense in the semi final and final match shutting down the best forwards of each team.
