Alcohol banned in city of Othello parks

Othello Police Chief Steve Dunnagan told the city council that prevention, intervention and enforcement are necessary to keep gang problems under control.

  Prior to Monday’s city council meeting, there was no current law on the books prohibiting the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in city parks.
