City of Othello, Request to Vacate City Right of Way
Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Othello will hold a public hearing to consider a request from Rolando Garza to vacate a portion of City Right of Way. The property is generally located in an area between Park Street and Teck Street at 150 Park Street. A public hearing will be held before the City of Othello City Council on Monday February 25 beginning at 7:00 pm or as soon thereafter as possible at the City of Othello City Hall, Council Meeting Room, 500 East Main Street, Othello, Washington. The City Council may make a final decision upon close of the public hearing or continue the public hearing to a specific date and time where they will review the record, deliberate and make a final decision regarding the Right of Way Vacation request. RELEVANT TO THE MORATORIUM ON
MEDICAL MARIJUANA COLLECTIVE GARDENS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City of Othello Council in the City Hall Council Chambers, 500 E. Main Street, Othello Washington, on Monday, February 25, 2013, shortly after 7:00 p.m. during the regular City Council meeting. The purpose of the public hearing is to take public testimony and to consider a twelve month moratorium on the licensing, establishment, maintenance or continuation of any medical marijuana collective gardens in the City of Othello. The Othello City Hall is handicap accessible. All public hearings are open to the public and our citizens are encouraged to attend.

ORDER OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
ADAMS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE SCHEDULE FOR REGULAR MEETING DAYS AND LOCATIONS FOR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; AND, RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. R-39-02 AND R-59-06
WHEREAS, the Board recognizes that frequent meetings on-site at the County Courthouse, Ritzville and the County Public Services Building, Othello facilitates the budgetary, supervisory, and communication processes between departments and staff within the county; and,
WHEREAS, the Board recognizes that certain legal holidays result in back-to-back meetings with few, if any, scheduled agenda items; and,
WHEREAS, these back-to-back meetings still require travel and staff time even though there is no agenda;
THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that effective February 1, 2013 the following meeting criteria are adopted:
A meeting every Monday of each month at the Adams County Courthouse, 210 W. Broadway, Ritzville, beginning at 8:30 a.m.;
A meeting every first and third Wednesday at the Adams County Courthouse, Ritzville, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 or adjournment
A meeting every second and fourth Wednesday at the County Public Services Building, Othello, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 or adjournment
EXCEPTIONS:
No meeting will be held on a Wednesday following a Tuesday meeting that occurred due to a Monday holiday;
No meeting will be held on a holiday occurring on a Wednesday;
No meeting will be held on the Tuesday before a Wednesday holiday;
No meeting will be held on a Thursday following a Wednesday holiday;
No meeting will be held on a Wednesday before a Thursday holiday.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. R-39-02 and Resolution No. R-59-06 are hereby rescinded.
