REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Othello School District is asking for RFP's to provide Professional Development to improve the educational success of English language learners through teacher training in research-based approaches from September 25, 2013 to June 28, 2014. Proposals to include all fees associated with training. RFP's must be submitted by 09/20/2013. Training provided on site.

ADAMS COUNTY NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS FOR
McManamon Bridge #400-3 Reconstruction
Adams County Department of Public Works solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Structural Bridge Design. Consultants will be considered for one (1) bridge design. This bridge project is scheduled for construction in late fall of 2015 and completion in early winter of 2016.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preliminary engineering, design and P.S. & E. for the bridge portion of the improvement of the McManamon Bridge #400-3. The proposed improvements include design of one (1) bridge and approach guardrail. Construction engineering would consist of reviewing construction submittals and technical assistance during the construction phase. This project is federally funded and will be held to Federal EEO requirements. The major features of this project are as follows:
* Structural design of one (1) bridge with a span of approximately 165 feet
* Geotechnical foundation design
* Roadway approach guardrail design
* Plan sheets
* Specifications
* Estimate
* Load Rating
* Scour Evaluation
PROJECT LOCATION
The bridge is located on McManamon Road near the City of Othello, WA, approximately ½ mile north of the City Limits of Othello in Section 28, Township 16, Range 29 E. W. M.
SUBMITTAL
Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, address, phone and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; actual Designers and Number or employees in each firm proposed to project.
Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria:
1) Key personnel; 2) Firm experience with WSDOT/FHWA standards (PS&E); 3) Firm and actual designers experience in bridge design; 5) Familiarity with relevant codes and standards; 6) Past performance/references; 7) Familiarity with Adams County.
Adams County encourages Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-owned consultant firms to respond.
Please submit THREE copies or your Statement of Qualifications and Standard Form 330 to Clint Biggar, Engineering Supervisor, Adams County Public Works, 210 W Alder, Ritzville, WA 99169 by October 4, 2013 no later than 5:00 pm.
