Man shot, killed in Cascade Valley
A 60-year-old man died Saturday night after being shot at his Moses Lake home.
"Though it is early in the investigation, I'm reassuring citizens we don't believe this was a random shooting," Sheriff Tom Jones said.
Grant County Sheriffs deputies were called around 9:30 p.m. March 2 for an assault at a home in the 7700 block of Clink Road Northeast in Cascade Valley. When they arrived they found a man who had been shot. The man was taken to Samaritan Hospital where he died a short time later. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday and the man's name will be released once the coroner has notified his family.
Detectives spent the entire night searching the home and interviewing witnesses. There is little public information ready for release right now.
