The Othello girls soccer team will return with some traction for the 2014 season, returning seven players from the 2013 after graduating four. The 2013 team took sixth in the CWAC after compiling a 4-5 league record. Wednesday, September 10, 2014
Othello volleyball head coach Shawn Shahan took over the volleyball program last year after the team had won just three games the year prior. In her debut season, her team improved to 7-8, more than doubling the Huskies' win total from the previous season. Last year, the Othello girls cross country team finished with a winning record of 5-4, which coach JJ Martinez said was the first winning record for Othello cross country in quite some time. The thrilling ride that was the 2013 Othello Huskie football season came to a bitter end last November, as an electrifying playoff run that propelled the Huskies into the state quarterfinals ended in a 20-13 loss to league foe Ellensburg.
