My name is Stephanie Jo Tolley and I'm your Miss Rodeo Othello 2013. I was born and raised in Othello. My parents are Joe and Trisha Tolley and I have two older brothers, Derek and Brandon. Horses have been a part of my life since I was a kid. I started out in 4-H, working my way up to junior rodeos then WAHSET (Washington High School Equestrian Team), which I'm currently still participating in. I've also been a flag girl for the Othello Rodeo for the last two years, which enticed me to run for the title of Miss Rodeo Othello. "Tino," my 14-year-old paint gelding, who was born and raised on our farm, has accompanied me through it all. We plan on making it a great year together and meeting a lot of new friends. All my life, I've dreamt about becoming Miss Rodeo Othello so I could be a role model for the youth of my town and have the honor to carry the flag in the spotlight while Lee Greenwood plays "Proud to Be an American." Looking forward to seeing you all Sept. 13 and 14. Remember, "We're not the biggest, just one of the best!"
