Othello Bass club had 20 members fishing the Snake River challenge tournament. We launched off at Wind Dust Park the weather was great with overcast skies and temperature in the high 80s to low 90s. The fishing was steady with almost all of the teams catching a good number of fish. Fish were being caught on rocky structures using crankbaits, drop shot rigs and soft plastics. "Da Ol' Pros," Juanito Sauceda and Omar Valdez, had five fish on the day and ended up the tournament winners again. This is their third win in a row, giving them a big lead in the anglers of the year standing. In second place were "Just Bite Me," Jesse Valdez and Santos Garza, and finishing in third place were "Off the Hook," Querino Gonzalez and Adolfo Coronado. This was a fun tournament. Many of the teams camped out at the park and we finished with a big barbecue at the end. The next tournament is the Big Water tournament at MarDon Resort July 13.
